CARING ABOUT OTHERS

Our lovely Shannon, Room 12 is learning many new and very, very tricky Unit of Inquiry words in her ESOL class. Shannon is not only an Inquirer - she is the most Caring girl helping her sister Helly settle down at Milford School. Shannon is a star and works extremely hard.

TE REO IN ESOL

Our young HIVE COMMUNICATORS (featured on the photo) are not only fluent in Japanese, Chinese,Korean, Arabic and English - they are translating Te Reo sentences in English, too. In ESOL classes they are being taught a very powerful message: " The limits of my language are the limits of my life". We are very proud of our multilingual children!

WHERE WE ARE IN PLACE AND TIME

A new Unit of Inquiry and its Central Idea has been the focus in our ESOL classes this week with year two students from the Hive. They are great Inquirers and Communicators.

FANTASIC LEARNIG IN OUR ESOL CLASSROOM

Our lovely room 17 ESOL students have started unpacking the tricky vocabulary of their new Unit of Inquiry - SHARING THE PLANET. They have watched a video and learned so many new words, such as pollution, deforestation, oxygen, recycling, chemicals etc. I am very proud of them. Well done!
