Medieval Day




















Monday 21st Septembers was not a regular school day for Milford School YEAR 5/6 students. They had a Medieval Feast and Banquet Day as partof their theme studies this term, when they have been learning about life, laws and activities during medieval times.
Summary of the day:
· Students and their teachers came to school dressed up like peasants, monks, friars, maidens or knights to add to the authenticity of the day
· the Argent Lords Medieval Display Troupe visited us to enhance the topic studies
· banquet resembling a medieval feast in the hall with the following menu: Cooked chicken legs, cooked sausages ,cooked potatoes, bread, fruit, water

These were placed on the tables as part of the communal feast. During the banquet, there were musical, acrobatic, joke telling and dance troop’s items.y for Milford School YEAR 5/6 students.
