YEAR TWO STARS

Room 12 English language learners have worked really hard in their ESOL class and have learnt so many new and very, very  tricky words related to their Unit of Inquiry - How the World Works. They shared their learning with Ms Dixon and Room 12 students.

HOW THE WORLD WORKS

 Our young ELLS have worked pretty hard to create a multilingual picture dictionary with the key vocabulary for their UOI . They are amazing communicators and extremely knowledgeable students.

HOW WE EXPRESS OURSELVES

 

HOW WE EXPRESS OURSELVES - a current Unit of Inquiry for our year 5 students is being studied in ESOL, too.  To be able to express ourselves in a more sophisticated manner, our students are learning how to use proverbs and idioms in spoken and written language.
