WHERE WE ARE IN PLACE AND TIME

A new Unit of Inquiry and its Central Idea has been the focus in our ESOL classes this week with year two students from the Hive. They are great Inquirers and Communicators.

FANTASIC LEARNIG IN OUR ESOL CLASSROOM

Our lovely room 17 ESOL students have started unpacking the tricky vocabulary of their new Unit of Inquiry - SHARING THE PLANET. They have watched a video and learned so many new words, such as pollution, deforestation, oxygen, recycling, chemicals etc. I am very proud of them. Well done!

HOW WE EXPRESS OURSELVES - a current Unit of Inquiry for our year 5 students is being studied in ESOL, too.  To be able to express ourselves in a more sophisticated manner, our students are learning how to use proverbs and idioms in spoken and written language.
