Y1 ZOO Trip


Say, Phoenix, Co and Christine went to the Zoo last Friday. This is what they wrote about their trip in their ESOL class:
I saw a spider monkey. It was brown. It was on the monkey bar. It fell down. I saw a lion. The lion was eating. I saw a rhino. It was big. I saw I hippo. It was brown.

CHILDREN'S DAY IN KOREA


The 5th of May is Children’s Day in Korea. Korean children get presents from their parents. Children’s Day is a holiday in Korea. On that day, most children go to theme parks or have picnic or go to shopping centres and get presents. Happy Children’s Day to all the children.
This is what the founder of Children’s Day, Pang Chong Hwan, said:
“Children are the future of our nation. Children who grow up with ridicule and contempt from others will become people who disrespect others, while children who grow up with respect from others will become people who respect others in turn.”

Book Week at Milford School


One of the Book Week activities at Milford School is the Pavement Art. We have been very unlucky wwith tghe rain, so had to do it in the School Hall. Nikita, Y1 and Christine Y1 are the proud illustrators of those beautiful pieces of art.
