International Refugee week

This week is International refugee week. Our ESOL group made this poster for the refugees. We were learning about the refugees and about what it feels to be a refugee. Our friend Yun-seo Read 2 books about refugees and the one book is about a refugee from North Korea to South korea. We all enjoyed to listen the story. Our freind Andrei said " It's sad to leave their own countries but It's better than dying." We hope that our poster is a way of expressing support to all the refugees around the world. We also hope that the number of refugees decreases in the years to come.

CHILDREN'S DAY IN KOREA

The 5th of May is Children’s Day in Korea. Korean children get presents from their parents. Children’s Day is a holiday in Korea. On that day, most children go to theme parks or have picnic or go to shopping centres and get presents. Happy Children’s Day to all the children.
This is what the founder of Children’s Day, Pang Chong Hwan, said:
“Children are the future of our nation. Children who grow up with ridicule and contempt from others will become people who disrespect others, while children who grow up with respect from others will become people who respect others in turn.”
